In Akhangaran, an 18-year-old resident who posted a video on social media accusing an internal affairs officer was arrested for 7 days under an administrative article. The inspection showed that the information about an alleged assault on the honor of a 14-year-old girl was not confirmed.

The author of the post stated that he had spread false information and slandered the officer, after which he issued a public apology. According to him, the clip was published on the night of April 27 to 28; the girl in the frame is not his relative, and the voiced accusations turned out to be fabricated.

After the video appeared, the young man was summoned to the internal affairs bodies to clarify the circumstances. It is noted that he refused to comply with the lawful demands of the officers and provoked a conflict in the building.

By decision of the Akhangaran City Court, an administrative arrest for 7 days was imposed not only on the author of the post, but also on two of his acquaintances.

The proceedings are ongoing. Investigative actions are reported in connection with the deliberate discrediting of an internal affairs officer, the dissemination of false information via the internet, as well as damage to a vehicle committed by a group of persons.
