José Mourinho has taken charge of Real Madrid and signed a contract until the summer of 2028. José will travel to Madrid after the match against Athletic Bilbao. This was reported by the reputable sports insider Fabrizio Romano.
According to Romano, the deal has been fully completed, and Real will pay Benfica €6 million in compensation for the early termination of the agreement with the Portuguese specialist. It was also previously noted that the coach may be given a say in the club’s transfer decisions.
Mourinho previously worked at Real in 2010–2013 and won the league title, the Spanish Cup, and the Spanish Super Cup with the team.
