In Uzbekistan, the “Eko-faol fuqaro” (“Eco-Active Citizen”) platform has been launched, aimed at raising environmental culture and promoting a healthy lifestyle. This is reported by Daryo, citing the press service of the Environmental Committee.
The project is being implemented as part of the nationwide “Eco-madaniyat” initiative. The relevant measures also provide for the resumption of the “10,000 steps on foot” practice and the development of the “Healthy Lifestyle” platform (1hls.uz).
Starting May 1, the platform began operating; the app is available on the App Store and Play Market. At the same time, according to the committee, the procedure for rewarding participants and the payment mechanism for completing 10,000 steps is at the stage of phased development.
Previously, the “10,000 steps” initiative was launched on June 1, 2021 on the basis of 1hls.uz: 3,000 soums were paid for 10,000 steps per day, but the project was later canceled.
