The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent Region reported that information circulated on social media about alleged illegal actions by a PPS officer against a minor was not confirmed. The agency emphasized that the verification carried out showed these claims do not correspond to reality.

The Department of Internal Affairs outlined the brief circumstances of what happened:

“On April 27 of this year at approximately 00:40, a PPS officer of the Akhangaran City Department of Internal Affairs received a call from his acquaintance, 22-year-old A.K. (female), who, saying she needed to get a consultation, invited him to her home.

When the officer arrived, 22-year-old A.K. came out together with her 14-year-old acquaintance and both got into the officer’s car.

At that moment, 18-year-old A.Kh., who recorded the address on video, arrived together with four of his acquaintances, began insulting the officer and started a conflict. At the same time, he is not related to the 14-year-old girl”

Since a minor is involved in the situation, the full details are not being disclosed yet, the Department of Internal Affairs added.

The department also stated that following the review, administrative measures will be taken against those who disseminated false information, and if serious consequences occur, criminal liability is предусмотрена.
