From June 1, 2026, new tariffs for electricity and natural gas approved by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution will take effect in Uzbekistan. For household consumers, the increase is estimated at about 10% on average.

For consumers in Groups I, II and IV, the price of 1 kWh is set at 1,100 soums.

For the population (Group III), differentiation remains in place. For houses and dormitories with centralized electric stoves, the tariffs will be: up to 200 kWh — 325 soums; 201–500 kWh — 450 soums; 501–1,000 kWh — 550 soums.

For other household consumers: up to 200 kWh — 650 soums (previously 600); 201–500 kWh — 900 soums (previously 800); 501–1,000 kWh — 1,100 soums (previously 1,000). Tariffs with increasing coefficients for exceeding the limits remain in effect.

Natural gas

The base price of 1 cubic meter of gas for most consumers is set at 2,000 soums. For automotive gas filling compressor stations — 2,750 soums per cubic meter.

For the population, the differentiated procedure remains: during the heating season, with consumption of up to 500 cubic meters per month, and in other seasons — up to 100 cubic meters, the price will be 1,100 soums per cubic meter (previously 1,000).

The document also предусматривает measures to reduce losses in supply, increase energy efficiency and improve service quality.
