In the first quarter of 2026, the average monthly nominal wage in Tashkent reached 11,684,300 soums, which at the current exchange rate is roughly $950. This is stated in a report by the Statistics Committee. The figure increased by 18.8% compared to the same period last year.
Across Uzbekistan as a whole, the average salary amounted to 6,825,900 soums — an increase of 17.4% year on year. In second place after the capital is Navoi Region (8,453,200 soums, +15.7%), and in third — Tashkent Region (6,169,600 soums, +13.9%).
