In the Nurota district of Navoi Region, a traffic accident occurred involving a Matiz vehicle transporting 13 pupils of a family kindergarten. According to reports by Kun.uz, the car was driven by the institution’s 34-year-old head. She died as a result of the crash.
It is уточняется, that the incident happened on the morning of May 5. The woman was taking the children from their homes to the kindergarten, as well as her three-month-old baby. While driving, she lost control, after which the car left the road and overturned. The children sustained injuries of varying severity: one child is in a coma, and eight of the injured were taken to the regional center hospital.
As the source notes, the spouses had been driving the car for several years without driver’s licenses. It is reported that the children were regularly transported along the “home — kindergarten — home” route under such conditions, and, according to the publication’s interlocutors, the parents did not raise objections.
The publication also recalls that this is not the first similar case in the region: earlier in Navoi Region, a case was uncovered of 23 children being transported in a Damas vehicle by a driver without a driver’s license or driving privileges, who was intoxicated.
