In the Romitan district of the Bukhara Region, officers of the Road Traffic Safety Department (UBDD) stopped a bus that was carrying 40 kindergarten children. During the inspection, it was established that the driver was intoxicated, after which the vehicle’s movement was immediately halted to ensure the children’s safety.
According to the UBDD, administrative materials were drawn up against the driver under Part 1 of Article 131 of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility, Part 1 of Article 194, and Part 1 of Article 128-8. Following the proceedings, the driver was deprived of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 3 years.
