Two new deputy khokims of Tashkent have been appointed at the Tashkent khokimiyat to oversee the economic block and digitalization. Dauletiyar Khudaybergenov has been appointed First Deputy Khokim for finance, the economy and poverty reduction — he also became head of the Main Directorate of Economy and Finance of Tashkent.

Dauletiyar Khudaybergenov was born in 1990 in the city of Nukus. In 2013 he completed his bachelor’s degree, and in 2015 — a master’s degree at Tashkent State University of Law; in 2024 he completed a retraining program at Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, and in 2025 — a master’s degree at the Banking and Finance Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He began his career in 2014; prior to the appointment he worked as head of a division within the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During his time at the Presidential Administration, he participated in implementing projects involving international financial institutions, improving the mechanisms for their financing, introducing market mechanisms into the processes for selling highly liquid and monopolized goods, as well as reforms in industry, construction and the utilities sector.

Dusmukhamedov Alisher Ismatillaevich has been appointed Deputy Khokim of Tashkent for the implementation of information technologies — Head of the Department of Digital Development.

Alisher Dusmukhamedov was born in Tashkent in 1981. In 2002 he graduated from the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications, in 2006 — Tashkent State University of Economics, in 2013 — the Higher School of Strategic Analysis and Forecasting of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and in 2021 — Tashkent University of Information Technologies.

He began his career in 2003 and held a number of responsible positions. From March 29, 2023, he served as head of the department for information and communication technologies and cybersecurity at the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
