The first leg of the 2025/2026 Champions League semi-final between Madrid’s Atletico and London’s Arsenal ended 1–1. The match took place on April 29 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium in Madrid.

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres opened the scoring before the break: in the 44th minute he converted a penalty. After the interval, the hosts equalized — in the 56th minute Atletico forward Julian Alvarez also scored from the spot.

The second leg will be played on the night of May 6 and will take place in London at the Emirates Stadium.
