In Uzbekistan, the tax authorities began monitoring receipts in the trade sector via transfers from plastic cards to plastic cards (P2P). As the State Tax Committee reported, in some cases such amounts were not reflected in tax reporting, as a result of which budget revenues were not formed in full.

According to the agency, analytical studies are being carried out on funds received on the bank cards of senior employees working in legal entities. Based on the identified episodes, measures are being taken regarding unreported income, and notifications are being sent to taxpayers.

The State Tax Committee emphasizes that the purpose of this work is not punishment or pressure, but ensuring economic fairness, reducing hidden turnover, supporting conscientious businesses, and creating equal conditions for competition. Entrepreneurs were urged to comply with legal requirements, fully document trade proceeds, and accurately reflect them in reporting.
